The room was clean and warm. I also found the vending machine convenient. It had great options for late-night snacks and drinks. I appreciated the pleasant staff. They were very helpful. I loved that the room was very good value for money and was exactly what I expected.
The access road had potholes, which could cause damage to vehicles with low ground clearance.

Free parking was available and quite helpful. The room was a good size. The walk in shower had hot water.

Convenient Stay Near the Airport

My room was really spacious. It was really good value for money. The facilities included iron, ironing board, kettle, fridge, microwave, individual soaps, shower gels, and a well stocked tea and coffee tray. I could not have asked for more.
The road leading to the hotel has many big water filled potholes. Taxis did not want to drop me at reception because of this. I had to walk to the hotel in the dark along the flooded track.

The breakfast offered limited choices. The dining area has cupboards and sideboard doors. Some looked worn and not properly maintained, but I was able to have a good portion of cereals and a glass of orange juice.

The staff was friendly and gave options for late arrival. They used a keysafe system. It made it easy to access my room when I arrived late. The vending machine provides options for drinks and snacks at any time.

pleasant gatwick stay

convenient location spacious room friendly staff lovely grounds
The location was convenient, a short drive from the airport. the room was spacious, much larger than i anticipated, a welcome surprise. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing everything i needed promptly. the grounds were lovely. I even spotted a squirrel during my morning walk.
The access road to the hotel has some potholes. Drivers should proceed with a little caution.

fantastic stay near gatwick!

spacious room helpful staff free parking
I found the hotel quite spacious. my room was larger than some hotel chains i have stayed in, it really surprised me! the staff was so friendly and super helpful. They even found me a hairdryer since there wasn't one initially in the room. parking was free . yay!
The pothole situation on the access road was pretty rough. Driving felt a bit like navigating a disaster, especially since i couldn't gauge the depth when they were filled with water.

I noticed the hotel provides breakfast but, i didn't have the opportunity to try it so i can't comment on the specifics of the meals. I can say the dining area seemed clean and well-kept. this is awesome! maybe next time

The hotel is conveniently close to gatwick airport. This makes early morning or late night flights so much easier to manage. it is a little removed from public transport, so relying on taxis or personal transport is best. the quiet setting is awesome!

the staff was friendly nothing was too much trouble. the kitchen area was a plus. gatwick airport was a short drive away making travel easy.
the building looks dated the hotel could use some updating to improve its appearance and guest experience.

the access road IS awful. deep potholes existed and were filled with rain. only the overhead light worked in our family room, not ideal.
